Unlikely heroes

17th March 2000 at 00:00
The National Canine Defence League will be launching a history resource for students aged 11-14. 'Dogs in War' looks at the role dogs played in both world wars, working in the trenchesand through the Blitz. Their stories, say the league, will "provide a fresh approach to the teaching of the world wars". It is free.
