US civil rights explored

Teachers Domain is a free multimedia digital library of classroom resources. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the desegregation of American schools, the site has launched a new online resource called the Civil Rights Collection. It documents the history of civil rights with video clips and news articles, accompanied by lesson plans and teacher's notes. These are, of course, designed to link with the US education syllabus (and the site contains a lot of US spellings), but are worth looking at for inspiration. www.teachersdomain.orgspecialcivil
