(Photograph) - Eddie Adam's photograph of a South Vietnamese intelligence officer executing a member of the Vietcong was one of many powerful images of the Vietnam war.

But did pictures such as this really change the outcome of the war? The question, posed in a 'Late Show' special, 'Vietnam Stories: The Camera at War' on BBC2, Monday, March 27, 11.15pm, brings very varied answers from the photographers and journalists who were there, as this picture and nine others are used to debate the ambiguous position of the media in modern warfare
