Improved vocational pathways into professions are key to increasing social mobility, the Government said this week

Responding to the final report of the Panel on Fair Access to the Professions, the Government said that young people should be able to progress to high status jobs having studied vocational qualifications. It added that the professions should review their own recruitment and career progression procedures.
