Erik Milowski, the development officer for volleyball in Aberdeen, has been appointed coach to the Scotland junior women's team.

The Frenchman, who has an outstanding pedigree in the sport, took his first sessions at Dundee University last weekend and will oversee a training course at Kilgraston School in Bridge of Earn, Perthshire, this weekend. Mr Milowski will later take a coaching week at the school on August 1-8 and then take the team to France in September for a series of matches.
