Mel Coutts has left her job as volleyball development officer for Edinburgh to take up a post in the Active Schools Programme in the Queensferry area.

Ms Coutts, who captains the England volleyball team, recently helped Team Edinburgh, a side that has grown out of Queensferry High, to win the Scottish Women's Volleball Cup and has helped them to the verge of the Scottish League title.
