A record number of teams will compete in the Cardinal Sports Youth Cup in Edinburgh on February 26. Already 82 teams have signed up but the final entry list is expected be closer to 100. For the first time, tournaments will be held at P4-P5 and P6-P7 levels in addition to S1-S2 and S3-S4.

At Easter, teachers are invited to brush up on their coaching at the Scottish Volleyball Association's school at Inverclyde from April 13-16. Teachers' award I and II and club coaches' award I courses are being offered. Contact the SVA, tel 0131 556 4633.
