Queensferry High pupils Fiona Kennie (14) and Katie Rafferty (15) were both given baptisms of fire at the Scottish Volleyball Cup finals at Glasgow's Kelvin Hall.

The pair both made their debuts for Team Edinburgh against Su Ragazzi, as their coach, John Scobie, decided to use his full squad. The girls, two of the youngest players ever to appear in the cup final, slotted in well during their limited time on court to show they have a future in the game.

Edinburgh won the match 3-0 to complete the league and cup double.
