Volunteers needed

10th January 2003 at 00:00
Chinese is now on the curriculum of an increasing number of schools. Teachers and parents may be interested to know of an opportunity to give pupils a little extra language practice and exposure to Chinese culture, in their own homes.

There are 25,000 Chinese students across Britain. Many are keen to make contact with residents of this country. HOST is a charity, backed by the British Council. More volunteer hosts are urgently needed in all parts of Scotland. Please visit www.hostuk.org or call 020 7254 3039 for more information.
