Vote of no confidence

Union members at Writtle College have given management a vote of no confidence over plans to make 16 staff compulsorily redundant

The losses come on top of 13 voluntary redundancies and a reduction in contract hours at the Essex agricultural college, prompting 91 per cent to to say they had "no confidence" on a turnout of 81 per cent of members of the University and College Union, Unite and Unison.
