Walk to School

Literacy packs produced by voluntary groups are a rarity. The pedestrians' group Walk to School has published On the Move. Aimed at years 5 and 6, it offers a wide range of activities on transport. There are ideas for letters on real-life controversies, newspaper articles to analyse dring guided reading sessions, even a set of "Hiker's Haiku" to stimulate themed poems. pound;10 from Walk to School, The Pedestrians Association, 31-33 Bondway, London SW8 1SJ.
