Waste not, win a lot

Think of something such as making a table from recycled plastic bags and you could win a prize of pound;2,000. The second Bin to Win competition for a recycling project is about to begin and children under 11 are invited to submit their ideas. Last year's winners turned discarded plastic pipes and steel tubes into a musical playscape. Other groups suggested litter-free snacks for the playground, shredded school documents for hamster bedding, or decorating buildings with old paint. Closing date April 2. www.recycle-more.co.uk
