Welsh wins

Further and higher education minister Bill Rammell presented five Beacon Awards to four Welsh colleges in a Whitehall ceremony. Wales has only 5 per cent of the UK's FE colleges but won 20 per cent of the Association of Colleges' awards. Coleg Sir Gar, Deeside College, Neath Port Talbot College and Pembrokeshire College were honoured.
