Last term, BBC Education screened an ambitious PSHE series. Thanks to sponsorship from Tesco, a spin-off education pack for nine to 11-year-olds, Focus: growing up, is available free to schools. It looks at those angst-laden issues that can torment young people on the verge of puberty, fromphysical changes to see-sawing emotions. The pack includes classroom posters, lesson plans, a booklet called Body Confidence by Dr Miriam Stoppard and a video of the programmes.
