The never-ending advance of educational technology leaves many teachers lagging behind their classes in understanding and confidence. Teaching and Learning Using Digital Video from the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (BECTa) is an informative, user-friendly CD-Rom. It shows how to get started with DV in the classroom and offers detailed advice on the choice of technology and software. Evidence of increased motivation and greater intellectual risk-taking suggest the advantages to students easily outweigh teachers' anxieties.
