Whitechapel wonders

27th November 2009 at 00:00

Work experience for seven students on a BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design at Tower Hamlets College led to an exhibition at a leading London gallery. The students were mentored by Faisal Abdu'Allah, a former artist in residence at the Tate Britain and the Serpentine Gallery, for the placement at the Whitechapel Art Gallery. Students produced their own work, which was then exhibited at the gallery. They will keep in touch with Mr Abdu'Allah and the gallery.
