Wild challenge

Tusk Force is inviting teams of children aged between five and 16 to enter the Wild at Heart Conservation Awards, sponsored by BBC Wildlife Magazine. They will be expected to complete five challenges to include submitting a poster design and a poem, creating an endangered animal from mainly recycled or recyclable materials, building a bird nesting box or bat roosting box, or planting a butterfly garden, fundraising, and researching and writing an article on a threatened species.

Closing date: is September 30. Each entrant will receive a certificate, gold badge and entry to a draw to win a conservation adventure holiday. Details from: WAHCA Tusk Force, Ravenscourt House, 123 Askew Road, London W12 9AU, giving name, address, telephone number and age.
