Wildlife Week;Equipment and resources news

If you're looking for a theme upon which to base outings and projects this term then you might be inspired by the fact that June 6 to 14 is Wildlife Week!

This year the week's activities will be concentrated on the Water for Life campaign, which aims to convey to children and adults alike what a precious commodity water is to both people and wildlife. The Wildlife Trust with its junior branch, Wildlife Watch, is aiming to get as many people as possible interested in activities like pond and water vole surveys, canal clean-ups, dragonfly spots and building otter holts.

* For details of events near you contact your local Wildlife Trust (number in the telephone directory) or telephone 01522 544400.
