Win an Eglu

15th April 2005 at 01:00
Welcome to Friday magazine's Reader treats, the column that gives something back and turns our readers into lucky winners. Have a go this summer - there'll be new ideas and offers every week throughout the term.

This week your school has the chance to win an Eglu, the coolest coop a chicken ever called home, courtesy of Omlet. Eglus come with two chickens, a fox-proof run and everything you need to care for them. We have two to give away; one to a primary and one to a secondary school. To win, we are asking pupils to produce a picture - it can be a drawing, photograph or other 2D artwork - which features a chicken.

So if your pupils (aged four to 18) fancy themselves as an Hen-ri Matisse or Pablo Peck-asso, then get busy! Send entries to Omlet, Wardington House, Wardington, Oxfordshire, OX17 1SD or email digital photographs or scanned images to competition@omlet.co.uk.

Include the pupil's name, age, name of school and contact details with each entry and please note that original artwork cannot be returned. All entries must be received by April 30.

* You can read about the benefits of keeping chickens in our feature on page 15.
