Witches warning

14th July 2000 at 01:00
I WOULD like to register my extreme concern and disappointment that the recent issue of The TES included a charm or spell as part of an article on witchcraft.

It involved wishing that any harmful intentions would rebound on the person causing them. Such instructions for spellcasting are tterly out of place - it is not the same as a religious prayer.

I believe that witchcraft has the potential to be a very negative influence on young people, and I would urge you to take a more responsible attitude towards it.
