More than 230 teachers have signed up to participate in the online event, which runs until October 6 and has been organised by the Geographical Association.

Phil Wood, who devised the website, said the conference focused on the curriculum for the new pilot geography GCSE, but teachers would also find discussions and presentations relevant to the traditional syllabus.
