Write on

16th May 1997 at 01:00
"Write Now! 97", a writing festival hosted by the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool, gives budding playwrights aged 14 to 20 from north-west England the chance to work alongside professional actors, writers and directors, to develop their writing skills and see their script performed in public.

Scripts of about ten minutes' duration should be submitted by September 20. The Everyman will run a supporting programme of writing workshops alongside regular meetings of the Everyman Education young writers group, and stage the winning 10 plays in November.
