SUPPLY teachers are not quite so neglected as Mike Tynan suggests (TES, July 23). Here at Quality Teachers we have been running an award for supply teachers in the West Midlands for the past two years. This year the winner was Nick Dunn, a newly-qualified music teacher nominated by Shelfield community school in Walsall. The school and Nick Dunn received pound;1,000 each.
