You'll have to wait

I NOTE from your lead report (TESS, January 14) that secondary headteachers are reported as backing North Lanarkshire's plans for radical change to the curricular structures.

In fact, members of the Headteachers' Association of Scotland are still in the process of drawing up our response proposals, which will not be forwarded to the authority until February.

It would be inappropriate for me to forecast the outcome of our response, as the views of senior managers may well have altered since the issues were first mooted last summer, but we are looking forward to an interesting and lively debate on the topic.
