If you want to know what's happening at the National Museums of Scotland, get hold of a copy of "Experience More", the new booklet which features special events and school workshops taking place during 2004-2005. The six national museums, the Museum of Scotland, Royal Museum, National War Museum of Scotland, Museum of Flight, Museum of Scottish Country Life, and Shambellie House Museum of Costume all run workshops from pre-school up to Highers. Highlights include Ancient Egypt handling sessions and banner-making during the Chinese New Year at the Royal Museum, Armistice Day poetry sessions at the National War Museum, and sculpture challenges at the Museum of Scottish Country Life. Paper-based packs and online resources with activity ideas and background information are also available. Further information on the educational programme is available.
