THE FREE CD-Rom with this month'sTES Online contains the most popular information technology modules from City amp; Guilds, the UK's largest vocational awarding body.

The 7261 and 4242 module assessment materials, now grouped under the Protech name, cover everything from word processing, spreadsheets and databases to programming and networks. Two new Protech 7261 modules are also included on the disc:Using the Internet Level 2 and Web Page Design Level 2.

Everything a City amp; Guilds centre needs to implement and assess an ITmodule is on the disc. Modules are stored as Adobe Acrobat files that can be viewed and printed as needed. Answer keys will be supplied separately, on request. The materials are all free and replace the paper packs that in totalpreviously cost more than pound;800.

Although City amp; Guilds qualifications can only be offered by approved organisations, tutors and teachers will find the CD-Rom very useful for lesson support material. Details about becoming a City amp; Guilds assessment centre can be found on the disc.

To start using the modules, call the freephone number on the disc toregister and obtain a password.
