Zones braced for OFSTED visits

EDUCATION action zones will have to prove they are raising standards, promoting social inclusion and are cost-effective, under new inspection rules from the Office for Standards in Education .

Under inspection this termare Blackburn with Darwen, Kitts Green and Shard End in Birmingham, Halifax, Weston-super-Mare, Southwark, Salford and Trafford. Due next term are Leicester, Wigan, Newham and East Basildon. See
