NEWS International, publishers of The TES, have joined up with 21 Scottish universities and colleges to promote worldwide distance learning.
Worldwide Learning Limited is set to pay pound;3.54 million for a 25 per cent stake in cottish Knowledge, a distance-learning group founded by the Scottish higher education sector, as part of a deal to use News Corporation’s satellite, Internet and other media outlets to market courses across the world.
