TES is up for a string of awards at this year’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Education Journalism Awards.

Journalists at TES and its sister publication TES Scotland are shortlisted for five awards out of a possible nine categories, including Outstanding Schools Journalism and Outstanding National Education Journalism.

At last year’s event, TES’ Stephen Exley scooped the National Award, with colleague Helen Ward being named as runner-up.

‘Excellent work’

Commenting on the awards, Mr Exley said: “I am really pleased to be shortlisted alongside many of my colleagues - it reflects the excellent work done by TES in covering the schools and FE sectors in the past year.

“I look forward to finding out who the winners will be.”

The awards night, when the winners will be revealed, takes place at The Shard in London on Thursday 17 November.
