At Tetley’s Brewery Wharf, pupils journey through time from a 14th-century monastery, through Tudor, Georgian and Victorian England into the Blitz. In a Tudor workshop GCSE and A-level students can see Shakespeare performed in an original setting. A Victorian life workshop, recommended for key stage 3, focuses on children’s working conditions and school life. Younger children can sample authentic food, drink, clothing, transport and entertainment in the Elizabethan courtyard. Over 14s can find out about brewing.
