Three junior education ministers lose jobs

Three junior education ministers lost their jobs in last week’s mass government resignation, though their chief, Francois Bayrou, retained his post.

Francoise Hostalier, secretary of state for schools, and Elisabeth Dufourcq, for research, were among eight dismissed women ministers. The secretary for higher education, Jean de Boishue, was also sacked.
