A class of 35 boys at the Pounds 1,700 a term Haberdashers’ Aske’s school in Hertfordshire was disqualified from a design and technology GCSE after a teacher was ruled to have given them too much help in their coursework, which counted for 55 per cent of the total mark. The teacher concerned has resigned.
