Pamela McGregor, a former North Berwick High science teacher, has been given a special honour in the United States for educating students about Scottish culture. Dr McGregor was chosen out of 1,700 cultural exchange teachers from 55 countries for her efforts in promoting an international dimension to her teaching at Grafton Middle School in Yorktown, Virginia.
