Train more, get less money

MORE schools are to specialise in supporting teacher training but could receive less money than their predecessors for doing so. The first 39 training schools were able to bid for up to pound;100,000 each annually, although few did. From the autumn, when 60 schools join the 82-strong network, secondaries will get pound;55,000 and primaries up to pound;45,000.
