The Magic MathsWorks Travelling Circus returns to Catalyst, the museum of the chemical industry, in Widnes, Cheshire, November 13-22. Children aged eight to 13 can use their senses on a variety of hands-on exhibits and can follow a maths trail around the exhibitions. Price per pupil is Pounds 2.75. The museum is also running maths masterclasses for sixth form students on November 23 and 24 covering such topics as structural isomers, carbon based structures, atomic packing and crystal symmetries.
