Children as young as 10 are burdened by fears about responsibility, exams and their weight, a survey by a children’s charity has revealed.

The Place2Be asked 500 children to submit artwork, poems or prose on “How it feels to be 10”, and found that 60 per cent were worried about responsibility and 40 per cent were concerned about Sats. Many girls were also worried about self-image and their weight.
