* I read with dismay John Parmiter’s comments about interactive whiteboards. Surely sitting or standing with a tablet PC in your hand means your engagement of the class is not as powerful as standing in front of them. If you want to wander around then why not use a slate? This equipment does not need to be attached to a projector but means the dynamics of the lesson can be considerably altered.

With the poor technical support most primaries have I cannot see how a set of tablet PCs will ever make more economic sense than a whiteboard, projector and a PC, or even “just the one” tablet PC.
