Dig out your flares, Afghan coat and innocent smile and prepare for another Abba-fest. But this time you can join in with the Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha and Frida lookalikes in Sing-along-a-Abba. For eight weeks the Whitehall Theatre in London will rock to the strains of “Money, Money, Money”, “Super Trouper” and “Dancing Queen”. Everyone in the audience will receive a goody bag containing props to aid the recreation of the songs, with lyrics projected on a big screen. No place for party poopers. Take children aged eight and over to a workshop entitled Fantastic Creatures at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on the morning of February 9. The Firebird, gnomes, trolls, elves and a mermaid will all feature, and participants can bring musical instruments if they wish.
