Encourage children aged 11 and under to invent cartoons on the theme of respect for a competition run by the charity ChildLine. The winner’s effort will appear on Kellogg’s Corn Flakes packs and runners-up will win Apple eMacs for their schools. A teacher’s pack, containing citizenship and pastoral care lessons, is available. Hitachi software is looking for young presenters. Primary and secondary students can enter a competition by submitting a VHS video of their five-minute presentation on one of three topics - the environment, nature, or science. Young men aged 13 to 24 interested in street dance, martial arts, boxing or music are invited by Greenwich Dance Agency to join Union Dance in creating a new work to be performed on March 1.
