Secondary teachers who want to expand their pupils’ musical repertoire are being encouraged to take part in national music week this October.
More than 1,650 schools have already signed up for the event, which takes place between October 16 and 20.
The aim of the week is to help promote new young British talent, and to encourage young people to listen to different types of music.
Registered schools will receive a teaching pack, including lesson plans, multimedia resources and fundraising suggestions.
