TV school to get specialist status

GRANGE Hill, television’s most famous school, is to become a technology college. Scriptwriters plan to give it specialist school status in the next BBC series, to be broadcast in February. Gill Barber, of Merseyside Television, said: “The children will use more computers and cutting-edge technology.”
