From Twitter

Our feature on bullying in the staffroom ("Pecking order", 30 August) clearly struck a chord with many readers and sparked a heated debate on Twitter. Some were happy that the subject was being discussed, others called for better reporting and a few felt that new teachers should show more backbone.

Fab article - perhaps a rethink on reporting and supporting is required to let teachers focus on what they're good at.

@Smithie_S

Maybe teachers should get some life experience before they role (sic) straight out of uni into a job #pathetic

@patriciopalmero

Having life experience does not make you automatically a good teacher or professional.

I find that some teachers I work with who have come from a "business" background don't have much empathy.
