The final episode of fly-on-the-wall series Educating Yorkshire aired last week. The show, filmed in a secondary school in the North of England, entertained millions and shone a spotlight on the difficulties faced by teachers on a daily basis. It ended in a suitably emotional manner, leaving many Twitter users more than a little teary.

I’m crying my eyes out watching Educating Yorkshire.

Awwwww the last Educating Yorkshire was so sad! I would have loved to have been taught by them teachers.

Am I the only one that cried after watching Educating Yorkshire? So emosh.

Just finished watching Educating Yorkshire! It was brilliant - what an amazing bunch of teaching staff :)
