Tommy MacKay was contacted by the Independent on Sunday about its list of the “top 10 educational psychologists in the UK”.
“You are number two,” he was told. Either MacKay was piqued because they didn’t put him at number one, or he was just demonstrating his knowledge of the customary use of these numbers in the west of Scotland.
“That’s sh**,” he replied.
