Uninterested pupils need careers pep

Better support and training should be given to parents and teachers to provide children with good careers advice, a recent study has claimed. The Local Government Association said pupils turn to adults they know well for such advice and called for guidance to be better targeted. Four-fifths of young people found formal careers services only a “little bit” or “not at all” interesting.
