You’ve seen the film, now take the class. Reid Kerr College in Paisley is running a three-hour evening class on the Titanic. Students will study the history and culture of the ill-fated ship. Local interest centres on the furniture that went to the bottom: it was made at nearby Lochwinnoch. A college spokesman, keen to promote the class, described it as “an in-depth study”.
