(Photograph) - Tuning up for a new term: the family of gifted seven-year-old Russian pianist Veronica Shoot a pupil at Dartington primary school, Devon, has won Home Office permission to extend their stay in Britain for one-and-a-half years. The Shoots had expected to have to return to Russia this summer when Veronica’s father finished a contract as composer-in-residence at Dartington Hall.
