The underlying message of a new BBC Open University video, The Question Is . . .?, “proposes that science and religion have been divided for artifical reasons” according to Russell Stannard, professor of physics at the OU and co-producer of the video. Aimed at secondary schools, “it focuses less on beliefs of a specific religion and more on universal issues such as the distinctiveness of human beings and the nature of the miraculous”.
