Virtual science laboratory

The virtual reality applications research team at Nottingham University has designed a virtual laboratory where students can test materials for radioactivity without fear of blowing up the science lab. Using the free Virtual RadLab CD-Rom, which has lready been sent to many UK schools, they can also learn about the atomic properties of materials and record their results on an on-screen worksheet.
