Students with learning difficulties are to experience vocational education during a residential week run by Linkage College in Lincolnshire.

The college’s Work Skills Week, which starts on Monday, offers 68 pupils from seven specialist schools the chance to take part in courses, including building, car maintenance, horticulture and catering. The majority of the students will stay in college accommodation, which for most will be their first time away from home.

Linkage College caters for 200 students with learning and other disabilities.
